Oakland Cannery Collective
We are a group of artists: writers, painters, sculptors, musicians, and performers. Together with other artistic communities of Oakland, we seek localized policies to protect, engage, and enhance art and cultural activities, with support for community and social equity.
The goal is to develop a solid foundation that protects Oakland’s culture: to enrich and beautify our environment, while forming alliances to educate the public about the process and history through cultural platforms.
